Tutorial: How to clean an oxidized brass rod?
We explain how to simply restore shine to a slightly tarnished brass rod.
1/ Start by wiping the surface with a dry cloth to remove all dirt .
2/ Use a copper cleaner such as “Mirror”. Apply a small amount of the cleaner to a cloth and gently rub the oxidized areas. This will help break down the tarnish and restore shine to the stem.
3/ Once finished, make a final polish of the stem with a clean, dry cloth to reveal its shine .
In a few seconds, the brass rod regains all its shine. Easy !
